I really like this guy and after a few months I finally got over him because he started to like another girl. But after last night at the dance at my school he looked so cute and handsome. I couldn't take my eyes off of him and I went in the photobooth with just him. We're going to this camp together and we have to take bart and the bus (just us two). So my other question is what type of conversation should I start off with to get it smoothly going? Thanks (:

Sigh. You can't /make/ someone else like you.

You can pretend to be someone else - someone they would like - but that never ends well.

You can be yourself and hope they like you for who you are - and they either will or they won't.

You can let them know that /you/ like /them/ and see if they return your feelings.

But you can't /make/ anyone like you.

Next:

I have to ask, has anything really changed? You moved on because he liked someone else. Is he with this person? Does he still like her? If nothing has changed, then your problem remains what it was when you chose to move on, and I think that was a very smart idea.

If it has changed.. and with all my opinions already laid out on the table...

I suggest talking about what camp will be like, as that is the point of the trip, and is therefore a natural topic of conversation.

Be yourself. Talk about the things /you/ are looking forward to (or dreading) and ask /him/ what he thinks/likes/doesn't like about camp.

From there, either the conversation will become stilted (in which case I'd back up for a while) or it will progress naturally to other likes/interests or past experiences.
