Looking for easy crafts using scallop seashells.?

Does anybody have any easy crafts to do with scallop seashells? Preferably small ones. I have 100's of different colored shells and would like some ideas of what to do with them. I've done picture frames, animals, etc.

depending on their size, you can make a variety of stuff.
* the large ones you can use a stand-alone show pieces or clumped together on a corner table.
* you can make an artificial landscape depicting either a sea shore or a rockery garden with "cobbled" pathways. first lay out your plants, pebbles, sand, shells, artificial birds/butterflies/animals, a small doll's cottage... in a large tray, then pour some water and hey, you've brought back the beach with you ;-)) [it looks really great - do try it]
* make a long-stemmed flower arrangement (fresh or dried or artificial) in a shallow container & arrange the shells at the base.
* make artificial flowers out of the shells. you can use real dried twigs or driftwood for the stems, etc.
* sprinkle them around already potted plants
* invent a game to play with your friends
these are short-term uses; you can change at will.
for some permanent uses and as self-made gifts which willbe appreciated -
* stick them around a photo-frame, vase, clock, lamp shade, etc, artistically.
* use them on table napkin rings , or on place cards
* to make greeting cards
* glue them on hair pins, hair bands, bracelets
* carefully pierce a hole in a nice shell & insert it as a lucky charm in your friendship bracelet
* make windchimes & mobiles
* make earrings
* create a wall decoration / landscape, etc.
* place them in layers in a beautifully shaped transparent glass jar/bottle/vase.
* create centerpieces

HELP . beach themed bedroom?

so . im 17 , and were moving to a new house and all my life ive always wanted to you know really have a room with a theme around it . at first iwas thinking hollywood glamour on animal theme cuz im in love with zebra prints but i know so many friends who have that . while i was looking at lamps i noticed this cool table lamp with sand and seashells in it then i thought HEY! why not do a beach theme or hawaiian theme since i do go to the beach just about everyday .but when i look for items to go with this i cant really find any ideas on how to decorate this . i dont have alot of money but i do have a job so any ideas would be helpful . or maybe even craft type ideas . OH and anyone know where i can find a beach or tropical related bed set ? unfortunatly the walls are like a light pastel green. ok thanks!
