World theme living room decor. I recently painted my living room and I'm now in the process of decorating it.

Three walls are like a pumpkin butter (behr) and one is ground nutmeg. Our fireplace is white. We have bamboo woven shades on the window. My husband wants a "world theme decor." He wants to put up pictures of places we would like to visit. I am not too keen on the idea but I'm going to go with it. Any ideas as to what I could do? I don't think it would be too hard to find wall decor, I'm having a hard time finding accents for the coffee table, accent table etc. Any suggestions??

Outdoor lighting for our wedding reception?

My Fiance and I are having an evening reception August 6th in Indiana. Our venue is a very NICE school with a huge field in the back and a gymnasium that we could also use, but we love the thought of dancing and celebrating under the open sky-so we're trying to stick to outdoors! Now, the field in the back is humongous! like 2 or 3 soccer fields, with a half-mile sidewalk around the edge. My only dilemma is lighting! So, I am in need of some really creative *inexpensive* lighting ideas! we can get electricity through a generator and extension cords. i just need help figuring out how i'm going to light this place when there aren't any trees around. Ideas? Be as "out there" as you want, and i'm willing to craft together some invention, i just need ideas. Thanks!

Few answers...first congrats on the marriage

1. tiki torches on the outer rim of the used area. They case off a good amount of light. They are also relatively safe
2. For the tables. Battery operated lamps (they can be found in camping section of a good sized walmart. Prices and sizes range)
3. call a rental company. They usually have the large lights you may want. They often have better prices then people think (call around to get different quotes)
