What are some simple foods that can help increase my bench press?

Ok, im 17 years old, and i really wish i could follow a strict diet, but i really can only eat right now what ever is at the dinner table. I am wondering if there are any simple foods, maybe such as peanut butter sandwiches, that would be able to help me get the protein i need. If any of you can just list some of those, that would be helpful,
