Well since we are teens, we all are getting jobs or have one. My friend has a job at a boy scout camp and he usually texts me while hes there, since he spends the night there. A year ago he had told me about how him and his coworkers were playing with a ouija board. I remember that my parents had told me about the ouija board and how it was not safe. At all. Well I freaked a bit on him for it but they were fine. I eventually forgot about it and we moved on with our lives. He is back at work again and they are going to play the ouija board next week. I worry for him sometimes. I kind of hope for them it was like last time where no one got hurt. I told him the consequences and he reassured me that they would be fine and the board was "safe". It makes me want to join. I have never dealt with one before but I have my basic knowledge on it. What should I do?
Answer
Keep staying away from the Ouija board and advise your friend to do the same!
The use of an Ouija board can often just be a random diversion in which nothing happens. That might be your friends experience so far. But sometimes it can open up the door to the demonic. This is since you are actually calling upon a spirit to converse with you. The spirit can claim to be an angel, a deceased relative or the like, but do not be fooled. What the Ouija board connects you with (if anything) will be a demon.
Even non-Christian websites warn against Ouija board use just due to the many bad experiences people have had. One says, âOn balance, the use of a Ouija board should be strongly discouraged. Those who do attract lower level beings ultimately stand a very high chance indeed of suffering possession and/or serious mental illness, both of which would be nearly impossible to overcome by modern medical means. The only solution to such a serious situation involving inter-dimensional forces would be an exorcism carried out by a highly experienced practitioner of which there are very few living today.â
One person on Yahoo Answers wrote, âAfter I played that Ouija ,I never wanted to do it again...I remember asking it when I was going to die and it said "56"...and I asked it how I was going to die and it said "sick".. Of course I wasn't moving the thing, and my friend said she wasn't moving it....It scared me shitless to be honest.. I just hope what it said isn't trueâ¦
Another said, âMy sister received one for her birthday and used it regularly. We then noticed a pattern that every time she or I used it we wear hurt pretty bad, not broken bones, but serious cuts. After finally deciding to get rid of it, and throwing it in the trash I told it to âburn in hellâ later that day I had to go to the emergency room with 1st, 2nd, & 3rd degree burns to my face from a gasoline accident.â
And another on Yahoo Answers wrote, âOnce my aunt and grandpa were playing with one and it said they would die on a bridge close to my aunt's house. Another time when my youngest uncle was in fifth grade the teacher brought an Ouija board out. He played with it and when he got home his mom told him to ask it if it believes in Jesus Christ as the Savior. He did and the spinny thing flew off the table and they never saw it again.â
Someone else shared, âA good friend of mine was tormented by a spirit her brother had let loose with this. It even followed her to college. Do not use it. The stronger spirits will come through and they are usually the bad ones.â
You can do your own search on Yahoo Answers for âOuija beard experiencesâ and the like and you will see the stories are never good.
The only real way to be freed from oppression from the Ouija board is through Jesus Christ. Only in him and through him is there victory over demonic spirits. Those that have experienced the forces of darkness and see that the spiritual realm is very real need to now turn to the good to obtain freedom. Have a look at the links below (mostly videos) and see what you think. I suggest you find a better diversion.

What are the dates the Seventh-day Adventists have predicted for the end of the world?

Old Timer
I was preparing a response for a question regarding predictions made by the Jehovah's Witnesses and ran across a table in Wikipedia (incomplete, but a good place to start) that gave a number of dates from numerous sources, including Harold Camping and Pat Robertson.
While someone can compiled those with respect to the SDAs, I thought some might be interested to look at the dates from the religion of cupcake, who is bent on hammering Sunday worshipers.

Romney is Mormon, not Seventh-day Adventist.
I'm going to leave this open for a while, yet, but right now, I'd accept the Millerites as part of the response. What surprised me is that the SDAs have continued to make end of the world predictions to include dates as recent as 1999. That obviously flopped.
Even more amazing were the dates provided by Jerry Falwell (1 Jan 2000) and Pat Robertson (29 Apr 2007). Considering the popularity of these two evangelists, one has to wonder just what holes these people hide in, especially when they continue to receive millions in donations for the support of their "ministries".
It isn't surprising to see a JW complain that the table in Wikipedia is wrong, but if you check the footnotes, they are all documented to the original sources. Now if the JWs have a problem with those sources, maybe they can come up with some actual facts, instead of just claiming that the information is wrong. Almost fifty years ago, I had a couple of JWs stop by and questioned them on their "end of the world" prophesies. They were as another person said, denying what had been clearly published.
For those who are coming back to check, here are the dates from the table regarding the SDAs. For a group that formed when the Millerites failed miserably, you'd think that they would learn from history not to try to second guess God.
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dates_predicted_for_apocalyptic_events
Millerite Predictions:
28 Apr 1843
31 Dec 1843
21 Mar 1844
22 Oct 1844 (the date of "the great disappointment" which resulted in the loss of followers and the eventual formation of the Seventh-day Adventist movement)
Seventh-day Adventist predictions:
1874 - The newly formed Seventh Day Adventists, a group founded by former Millerites, predicted the Second Coming would be in this year. -- Richard Abanes, End-Time Visions. Four Walls Eight Windows, New York, 1998. Page 339.
13 Feb 1925 - According to Seventh-day Adventist Margaret Rowen, the angel Gabriel appeared before her in a vision and told her that the world would end at midnight on this date. -- Richar

hi there.
hmm, i'm going off memory here. i looked into what ellen g white was teaching, came to the false prophecy, and dismissed the rest.
ellen g white prophesied in the 1850s that the people sitting with her would not all die before armageddon. well, they're all dead. we're all still here.
they have more recent ones?
well luciferians do what luciferians do. you have to look at who they are, not be swayed by what they say.
