Where can I buy this kind of light?

I've got a bachelor appartment, but the only light in the main room is near the door and doesn't provide much. There's a few places I could put a lamp, and I'll probably need more than 1.

I was thinking of getting a tall, black, new-age-looking lamp, or a short table lamp. Also, I was thinking of getting a bendy desktop lamp for my computer. Where can I get those?

And, where can I get a small table that's just big enough to put a lamp on?

I wanna buy a night table a futon, new comforters, a lamp, a mirror, a rug and all kinds of things but i cant find this stuff anywhere. I've searched Jc pennys, Macys, Ikea, walmart, target. They dont really have to much stuff. Wheres a good place to get stuff?
