can you drive on the beach at cresent beach fl?

Jo

would like to know if driving is permitted on cresent beach.

Answer
YES. Apparently there is limited beach driving there. Here is what it says from the county website:

Crescent Beach
Note: Park undergoing renovation through winter 2010.

Location: On Anastasia Island just three miles south of St. Augustine Beach at 6930 A1A South, St. Augustine. Google Map (approximate location).

Facilities: Restrooms, dune walkover, covered picnic tables, and showers. Pavilions on a first come first serve basis. Lifeguards are staffed seasonally.

Other Information: The natural profile of the coastline gives this beach its name, Crescent Beach. Minimal vehicle beach driving / parking. Access fee from March 1st through end of September, Horseback Riding during designated times only with special permit. For more information, contact St. Johns County Recreation Department, (904) 209-0333.

Where to eat after a beach wedding in St. Pete or Tampa Florida area?

jennibean

We are planning a small (6 people) beach wedding. We don't really want to do anything big and we are looking for a restaurant to eat at after wards instead of having a reception. We just aren't sure where to have it. The wedding will be at St. Pete beach so any recommendations would be great. If they happen to have a "banquet" style (just a large table section tucked away) room even better.

Answer

Is Port Saint Lucie, Fl a good place to buy a Florida vacation home?

noitall

I am looking for somewhere which is in between Disney and the beach. How far is the beach from Port Saint Lucie? Are there bad neighborhoods there? Please advise.

Answer
It's a good and bad place to live. Your right near the water and hurricanes are abundant in that region when the season starts up. I live here in the state and I can tell you that even though homes are at their lowest in price, it's not the best of places. my wife and I are trying to move ourselves. We are from the cold country but, I'd rather be up north than go through another one myself. You would be better off living in Orlando,Florida Right near Disney and further inland from major storms. Your still only a couple of hours away from the beach but much safer. I'm not trying to scare you but to put real facts on the table for you. I don't want anyone coming here and being mislead just so some Realtor can make a sale and commission on an unsuspecting person. The site said they wanted real facts. That's all I'm trying to do. Make your own mind on it. This is just food for thought.
