I've recently taken my first real estate job at keller williams and am looking at a few different ways to get my name out there. I have already ordered business cards and will be getting my own website soon but outside of that what are good ways to catch peoples attention? Im looking into things like brochures, door hangers, table tents etc.. Any other ideas or things that you have found to be more successful than others? Thank you!

Why do my friends dogs pee on everything and go crazy over my dog?

ellzyy

I HATE MY ROOMATES DOGS. There's a Doberman pincher and a mini pincher, THEY PISS ON EVERYTHING, I am beyond tired of this, why do they do it? They will piss on the damn wall, a chair, a door, a table, ANYTHING, then come back 5 minutes later, THEN PISS AGAIN. WHY???? I'm so tired of it, and it's ruining my friendship because the dogs' owner seems oblivious to it and lets them do it even though I call him on it.

Can I get HIv if I have a small knife cut1day old on my thumb and I go to HIv testing clinic as an IT trainer?

IT person

I went to HIv clinic to train docs/nurses to use their computer systems and had a small 1 day old cut on my thumb , but did not come in contact with any bodily fluids . Though I touched the computers , phones ,doors, table ,chairs etc.

Answer
you can't get hiv that way. Hiv is a very fragile virus and dies quickly when it is outside the body even if you had a fresh cut you wouldn't have been at risk I suggest you check out a website like aidsmeds.com it has a lessons section on the facts about how hiv is and isn't transmitted.. there is alot of incorect information floating aronud on the information super highway but that place has the facts.

How do train a dog that has really bad behavior?

My uncle has this horrible dog about a year old, the dog is a rat terrier. He eats the door, table, shoe, heel of a shoe (if it's a high heel), anything that's on the floor, how do you train him? If you have any videos, links, anything, tips, please do.
Thanks,
Megan

Answer
If he does this only when people are out (especially the door), he may be ill-at-ease about being left alone, or bored.

Management comes first - not just so your uncle's things won't be destroyed, but also so the dog doesn't get a chance to practice the behavior. Every time he gets to chew the humans' stuff, he "learns" it's OK.

So, a thorough cleanup and always keeping things out of his reach is needed.

If he ever gets hold of something he shouldn't have, don't chase him to get it -- that really teaches him that grabbing your stuff leads to fun.

Then, give him lots and lots and lots of things he is permitted to chew. Make those things exciting by playing tug and keep-away (in either direction) with them, if they are a good size for that (don't play tug with a small toy -- even a dog with great control might get a tooth on your hand while doing that).

There's even a taste/smell you can spray on his toys, to make them appealing and mark them as "his" --

My Daughter is 15 months old and I have a question about her walking skills?

Skittles

She has been taking steps ever since she was 13 months old. Now, she can walk a fairly good distance but she is VERY wobbly and clumsy like. She also has a fast pace about her walk. Is this normal? When should I expect her to be able to walk normally without always have to be behind her incase she falls into a wall, door, table, etc....Anyways, just wondering if this is normal?

Answer
At 15 months old, my daughters feet were still too fast for her body and she'd fall constantly, or run straight into walls! It wasn't until she was about 17 or 18 months old that she somewhat perfected her walking skills. She's 2 now and still occasionally trips on her own feet! It's rare, but still happens.
