where can i find long white cushioned benches,w/storage, that can be used at a dining table instead of chairs?

I wanted to not do the traditional table and chairs in the dining room. My dining room is small so i was looking for long white cushioned benches that can be doubled as storage. where can i find?

i love the bench! but i love the booth too! its more of a KITCHEN table mainly. dining room tables are more elegant lol

Many of your localized furniture stores will have this because it is affordable and space saving. I got one from Target two years ago and it works great because the bench is placed under the table until needed and it looks great too. I would browse online on target.com, walmart.com, jcpenny.com or ethanallen.com before you look fo yourself, this way you can compare prices and finishes. Best of luck to you!

what are the (dis)advantages of a fixed dining table design (granite slab and two wooden bench) ?

I would like some suggestion on the dining table design
The design that I have in mind is a fixed concrete/granite slab with a support on either sides or one side
connecting to the wall with covered wooden benches (top side cushion) and shelves with door on the easily accessible side.

What, if any, are the problems with the concrete slab table design ?

Fixed dining table design is great as long as you don't have any plan to do renovation works in the area where you placed your dining table.

I'm not liking the white oak table with all the black pieces you have noted. I would choose a warmer wood color and then it would blend. The style of the table would work, just not the light color. Then the dark leather chairs would pull it together nicely with the rest of the look. Good choices though.

We don't have a dining table (or room for one), so I'm thinking of an appetizer buffet with finger foods to have sitting or standing.
This is for family, so they'll be all ages. Do you think it will be fine having them just sit on our couch, a bench, etc?
