What should I do please answer?

Q. I do not know what to do and I am really boored

Answer
I am never bored. When I was 15 or 16 years old, I participated in 55 different activities and sports outside of high school. My activities back then ranged from playing chess with international chess players like Bobby Fisher and Larry Evans (25 tables played each of them at the same time) to fly fishing for brook trout in remote lakes and rivers to walking through the thick bush hunting grouse with my grandfather's shotgun, snowshoeing in the winter, high diving, tent camping in the winter, taking long canoe trips, whale watching for free near Tadoussac, Quebec, doing drafting drawings on my own drafting table, learning another language. Today, I still keep my mind and body active. In the last 25 years, I have traveled to 17 different countries. Even though I'm 65 now, I just completed a critical report on two web sites I was complaining about. The report was 16 pages long in size 11 font. I have been referenced in a British newspaper for a legal matter I was involved in, the same matter was also picked up by newspapers in Houston, Texas and Orlando, Florida. I was offered a teaching position to (teach a particular law course in a college) even though I had to write supplementary exams to squeak through in my last year of high school and even though I have never attended a university or college. After failing my last year of high school I did not give up and say to myself "what will I do with the rest of my life all my friends have gone on to attend university - oh, woe is me?". No, on the contrary, I just kept going. I have played my guitar on two different vinyl albums and played live to 900 people. I feel young, I accomplish a lot during my busy day. I always look on the "bright side of life". I have been interviewed live on TV and on the radio.I have, all alone, sailed a small sailboat by from a town in Ontario Canada to a town in New York State. I flew alone to Bermuda (a country I had never been to in my life) and I was paid in advance to follow a couple around the island for four days with a 1,000 mm zoom lens when I was a private investigator. There are all kinds of things to do with your time. We all have gifts and abilities. What are yours? Go out and perfect one or two of those gifts...do not sit at home and be bored. Take a course in spelling and learn the correct spelling of the word is not boored.

hirim69

its from m*a*s*h where the camp gets potters' favorite movie and they sing " oh, i dont want no more of army life, gee mom i wanna go home." whats it called?

Answer
"They Say That in the Army"

Here are a few lines and the chorus, however, plenty of people makes up their own lines:

They told me in the Army, the girls are mighty fine
You ask for Betty Grable, they give you Frankenstein

Chorus:

Oh, I don't want no more of army life
Gee, ma, I want to go
Back to Ontario
Gee, ma, I want to go home!

They told me in the Army, the food is mighty fine
A pea rolled off the table and killed a friend of mine.

They told me in the Army, the drink is mighty fine
You order up a whisky, they serve ya turpentine!

They told me in the Army, they love ta sing and dance
But no one said those Nazis would shoot me in the pants!

what is a great way to fundraise money for a non-profit youth military program?

Veronica-s

My kids and I are involved in a Young Marine program and we are in serious need to purchase bdu uniforms, camping gear and items to be raffles at an upcomming young marine graduation, and we are in search for donation of items or money. Does anyone know where we could start and/or what we should do? Maybe even how to get Sponsor's, everyone can check the web site to show that we are lagitimate, just ask to see the website. Thanks...

Answer
I guess it varies depending on where you live. Here in Ontario my compnay does fundraising for a number of different charities.
Here are some suggestions to get you started

1. Look for sponsors that are willing to donate something that could be raffeled off. Or willing to match donations that are collected.

2. Get permission from a local chruch or school to use their facilities for a fundraiser then go to your local flea markets, advertise in the papers etc. and charge them anywhere from $25 - $150 per table to sell their products. Make sure to advertise.

3. Approach stores, banks etc. to see if they would be willing to "sell" your something marine related (picture) that the person would be asked if they would be willing to make a two doller donation and thent hey can fill their name out on the related picture to be hung in the store as an angel for the marine core or something like that.

4. Approach companies to see if on a specific day they would consider donating $.10 for every hamburger sold. etc.

5. Have a craft & bake sale.......all items to be donated (senior centres love to participate in things like this and they tend to do a lot of crafts)

6. Companies like Gillette offer things like gifts in kind that they would be willing to donate....

Big hurdle of course is that usually for things like gifts in kind you need to be a registered charity.

Good Luck Hope some of this was helpful!

Mt everest statistic questions?

Blake

I need the 5 most popular climbing routes of Mt. Everest (or the 5 easiest ones)

and then if you could i need to select two of the popular climbing routes and identify the key places or camps. Make a table for each climbing route. Each table should include the name of each camp, the elevation of the camp in feet, and the difference in elevation between each camp in feet. Identify which section of each route gains the most in elevation.

thanks in advance :]

Answer
A) Japanese Couloir
B) Central North Face
C) The Great Couloir (White Limbo)
D) South-East Ridge Standard ( Sir Edmond Hillary's route )
E) N-NE (Zakharov's) Couloir

The two most popular are the: South-East Ridge Standard ( 1140 climbs )and the North East Ridge with ( 655 climbs.)

South-East Ridge:
Southeast ridge begins with a trek to Base Camp at 5,380 m (17,700 ft)
Camp "I" at 6,065 m (19,900 ft). a gain of 2,200 feet
Camp "II" at 6,500 m (21,300 ft) a gain of 1,400 feet
Camp "III" at 7,470 m (24,500 ft). a gain of 3,200 feet ((The most gain after Base Camp))
Camp "IV" at 7,970m (26,000ft). a gain of 1,500 feet
The South Summit at 8,750 m (28,700 ft) a gain of 2,700 feet
The Summit at 8,848 m (29,029 ft). a gain of 329 feet.

North East Ridge:
North East Ridge begins with a trek to Base Camp at 5,180 m (16,990 ft)
Camp "II", at 6,100 m (20,000 ft) a gain of 3,0I0 feet
Camp "III" at 6,500 m (21,300 ft) a gain of 1,300 feet
Camp "IV" at 7,010 m (23,000 ft) a gain of 1,700 feet
First Step at 27,890 feet. A gain of 4,890 feet. ((The most gain after Base Camp))
Second Step at 28,300 feet. A gain of 410 feet
Third Step at (28,510 ft to 28,870 ft) a gain of 570 feet
The Summit Ridge at (29,029 ft) a gain of 159 feet

As a historical note, I interviewed Sir Edmond Hillary and his Sherpa Tenzing Norgay in 1998 for a television station here in Ontario Canada. A huge man ( at 6' 6" ) with a heart of gold. May he rest in peace.

Hope this is what you need.

Regards,
Warren

Where are there camp sites with wolfs in it in Ontario?

camping table ontario on Cedar Ridge Camp | Summer Camp Food Services

Thatguy

So when I was a kid from 4 to 7 I remember going camping with my dad and some family from his side. I remember at night time we all walked down to the lake for some unknown reason and on the picnic table on the sand was a good 5-7 wolfs. I am now 20 and I want to go back to that same spot or another one with wolfs but I don't know the name or location of any.. I cant ask my dad because I don't talk to him anymore, since I was 14. Reason why I don't talk to him is I always lived with my mom but when I was 13 she started dating a crack head and 6-8 months later we were homeless, I tried to move with my dad but he turned me down and said I couldn't stay there... So he left his 14 year old son be homeless... But yeah does anyone know where a camp site is with wolfs near it? I love wolfs and I want to relive that moment again with my little girl who is 4.

Answer
Ontario is home to 2 different species of wolf: Gray and Eastern.

Algonquin Provincial Park, north of Toronto, also acts as a wildlife preserve for Eastern wolves.
