i am transforming an area behind a community center for mentally challenged adults. they already have a pavilion there. I've been thinking of some picnic tables or a fire pit with benches. also they'd like to put in either a atv or golf cart pathway and maybe a small fish pond. however i have no experience with fishponds so id like to know what is needed for that like if the fish need to be brought in over the winter or what kind of equipment you need. if you would care to critique my ideas and add your own it would be extremely appreciated

Stop Playi

should i finish this or is it basically a pice of useless sh*t?

It was a beautiful evening. The sun was slowly melting into the white ribbons of clouds, and the rosy pink sky transforming it into something much darker. Sort of a marble blue sprinkled with powdered sugar stars. The moon was a bright crescent, and when its light hit my hair, it made it appear as though it was silk. Bright, fiery orange silk that is. My father would always tell me that I was a spitting image of my mother. We both possessed the wavy flame hair, the cucumber green eyes, the soft ivory skin, and the dark coal eyelashes. The funny thing was my face was free of freckles. I was glad about that though. I preferred my face spot free.
I was sitting in the park on my favorite bench. It was worn and weathered, the wood was gradually falling apart, and only one spot of the old white paint remained. Today was Wednesday, the last day of school before winter break. A thick blanket of snow embodied the damp evening earth, making the brown stems of grass vanish. The tree tops also wore the same heavy blanket of snow, making the tree trunks weak and limp. I shivered in my heavy winter coat, and wrapped it around me tighter. The cold had turned my cheeks a warm flushed pink, which boldly stood out on my pale face.
I checked my watch to find that it was almost nine oâ clock. My dad would be worried about me, and I thought it would be nice to get inside our warm oven of a house. I stood up from the bench and brushed some fallen snow off of my jeans. My hands were frozen inside my cream wool gloves, making it hard to move my fingers. The good thing was, I only lived three streets away and if I ran I could get there in about three minutes. I decided it was time to run. As I ran my throat instantly dried, making it feel cracked and uncomfortable. I tried swallowing as much as possible, but it wasnât enough. My nose felt so numb that it could fall off any second now. I placed one gloved hand over it to try to heat it up, but my hands were already icicles.
I turned the last street corner and immediately ran into my street, Bluebell drive. My house was the second on the left, number 206. I sprinted up the cracked concrete driveway towards the front door, heaving in iced air. As soon as I opened the sleek black front door a full blast of heat hit my face, slowly thawing it out. I removed my gloves (hoping to find all of my fingers were attached), set them down on the table next to the front door along with my student ID and numbly walked over to the lit fire place.
âEvangeline, is that you?â My dad called from the kitchen.
âYeah, itâs me dad,â I said chattering my teeth.
âHave you been outside this whole time? Itâs freezing out there!â he said as he walked into the family room, ending up right beside me.
âSorry. Yes yes yes, it wonât happen again.â
âWell, you seem to always say that yet you come inside like you have been put in a freezer for hours!â
âOk, well Iâm going upstairs. Good night,â I said stumbling to my feet as I headed towards the stairs. Even though I yearned for the heat of the fire, I didnât really feel like listening to a responsibility lecture right now.
âOk, see you tomorrow. Oh by the way, I want you to go talk to the Montgomery boy across the street. They have been here for almost a year now and you havenât even seen him! Itâs kind of rude of you.â
âBut dad, what if he is some kind of freak who thinks Iâm his friend and tries to start hanging out with me!â I whined now halfway upstairs.
âYou never know until you try Evangeline. Good night,â he said as he walked back into the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and groaned as I continued up the stairs to my room. My brother, Jack, was already asleep so I quietly opened my bedroom door and closed it as softly as I could. I quickly flicked the switch on the wall to the right of me, instantly infusing the room with a soft, luminous glow. I walked over to my open closet and dug through a bin of t-shirts and shorts. Numbly, I slipped out of my blue suede boots, my dark skinny jeans, my knee high army green socks, my white long sleeve shirt, my purple sweater, and my cream winter coat and put on an old Mickey Mouse t-shirt along with black biker shorts. I decided to slip my socks back on just in case I got cold, even though the house was burning up. For some reason I was exhausted, so I turned my light off, lied down on my bed, and immediately fell asleep.
*****
I woke up to the sounds of Jackâs toy trucks racing down the upstairs hallway. Sure, he was ten but he never seemed to get tired of those trucks.
âJack! keep it down!â I yelled from my room.
âDad says you need to get up anyways.â he said now in the doorway of my room holding a red truck in his left hand. âHe wants you to get ready and go to the Montgomeryâs.â he said walking away. I sighed and threw the covers off of me. The sun seeped through my closed curtain making small rays on the wood floor. I rub
it didn't even post it all! hold on....
I rubbed my eyes and stood up with a bit of a sway. My alarm clock read 9:32 in flashy red numbers. They seemed a little too flashy for my liking. I slowly walked over to my closet and took out a turquoise log sleeved shirt, a pink braided- strap dress, a hounds tooth sweater, some very thick black tights, and my winter coat. I prayed this would keep me warm today. The upstairs bathroom was unoccupied so I decided now was a good time to take a shower.
Once I was cleaned up and dressed I slipped on my black suede boots and headed downstairs. My dad was sitting on the couch watching a re- run of King of Queens, and eating a half empty bowl of cheerios. He waved goodbye once I told him I was heading out and went back to mindlessly staring at the television screen. I slipped on my heavy coat, opened the front door, and slowly walked to the end of my driveway. The Montgomeryâs house was across the street, one house down. It was a simple white two story house, with perfectly trimmed square
bushes along the front lawn. The windows had freshly painted black shutters, and window boxes that were overflowing with white jasmine. I stuffed my hands in my pockets as I made my way across the street to the pleasant little house to meet this unknown family.
I pressed the doorbell once I reached the front door and took a step back. I wondered how these people would react to just now meeting their neighbor. I had been invited over in the past, or asked to go visit, but I always seemed to find a way around it. Today I guess I wasnât so lucky. Plus, I had to face them sooner or later. In only a few seconds time the glossy red door opened revealing a pleasant looking woman holding an apple in her left hand.
âWell hello.â
âHi. Iâm Evangeline. I um, live right across the street.â
âOh, of course! Come on in sweetie,â she said opening the door more now to let me in. The house smelled of fresh flowers, and sweet red apples.
âThanks,â I said as I reluctantly stepped inside.
âYou know, I have always meant to come by but I have just been so busy. This is a lovely house you have by the way.â
âWell, thanks. We just finished up all of the remodeling about a week ago. You should have seen this place before. It was a disaster!â she rambled on as we walked into the family room. Her husband was sitting on the couch reading todayâs paper, and a boy who looked to be about my age was sitting at their dark wooden table reading a book.
âEvangeline, this is my husband, Tyce.â
âNice to meet youâ he said reaching his hand out to shake mine. His palm was rough with calluses and at least twice the size of mine.
âYou too.â I said with a kind smile. They seemed nice enough so far.
âAnd this is my son, Blair.â she said proudly gesturing over to him. It was almost as if she was showcasing her own son. Blair gracefully pushed himself up from the table, and walked over to meet me.
âItâs a pleasure.â he said with a gentle smile. I shook his hand, and examined him more as
well, whatever. there is too much to post anyways. thanks for the feedback.

Josh

I am a junior in highschool and looking to plan a big suprise for a one year dating anaversery with my girlfriend. I would love to set up a showing were I can have her favorite movie play, but I have no idea where to get a screen. Also I have her favorite food ready but I would love to have a table and everything set up in some beautiful scenic location, but im not sure where. I am new to the area so I would love assistance. Ideas?

Answer
OK~ I have got the point! Your girl friend will be very happy if she knows everything you have done for her. I am very happy to recommend you some gorgeous romantic places for you to celebrate your dating anniversary ~~Hope you can have a memorable and romantic day!!!

1. Burke Baker Planetarium: One Hermann Circle Dr., 77001.
This planetarium is only 1 of 3 worldwide with a full-view SkyScan Digital Sky projector--making events here shine in big, Texas-style living color. Once the lights go down and the music goes up, the dark amphitheatre transforms into a kissing oasis! What is more, few people will come there and you can set a table there in advance.

2. The Williams Tower: 2800 Post Oak, Ste. 6262, 77056
The Williams Waterfall in front of the building is haloed in an almost-constant rainbow of mist and sunshine, complete with benches and a wishing fountain. Is that cool? If you see a film there, that will be terrific~~

3. The Galveston Seawall, 77553
A beautiful place to watch the waves crash against the jetties or to sit upon with a picnic lunch, the seawall serves as both protector from, and portrait of, the Gulf of Mexico.

4. Vargo's Gardens: 2401 Fondren, 77001
Peacocks, swans and squirrels call this place home, and add to the enchanting ambiance of this place--a natural choice for outdoor events of all kinds.

OH~ forget to remind you: All the things you will do are outdoor, so you had better pay more attention to the weather on that day. You can check out the weather forecast on the web below.

When you go to the above places, please be careful and take care of yourself.

I already have a 6-seater dining table in my breakfast nook. I want some low benches with plenty of cushions and transform the dining into a conversation area. Any idea of where I can get low benches or any other ideas on what to do with the space?

Answer
As for the low benches try jcp.com or grandinroad.com. As for what else to do with it is according to your family's lifestyle and what suits you best. Have fun.

Do the WASHINGTON WIZARDS have a legit shot at making the playoffs...?

Wizards current lineup..

PF A. Jameson
SF C. Butler
C B. Haywood
SG D. Stevenson
PG G. Arenas

The wizards have solid players in arenas and jameson. However, Haywood and Butler are at most average. Stevenson is sub par.

If this team is healthy, then could Arenas and Jameson carry this team to the playoffs? It remains to be seen. After all, Flip Saunders will help to get this team back to the playoffs. Flip is a great coach with a wealth of solid playoff coaching experience. I think that Flip will transform the wizards into playoff contenders.

Answer
Well, i think you dont give this teams depth credit with their aquisitin of miller and foye, and their talented backcourt, including nick young, as well as that butler is a 20ppg guy and all star on a well balanced team.

Here is my take on their chances next year, hope you find this helpful, i know it is long but please read.

im not sure about the rotation but this is an overveiw of their chances and i believe it will be a combo of the starting five of james, jamison, butler, arenas, and any big man they can find, and then blatche, miller, and foye as the first guys off the bench, followed by their now 3rd year player, i forget his name, and javalle mghee. But below is really an overveiw of their trade, and their chances, and really hwo things could and should work out.

Firstly i will asses the trade. songaila was a decent bench warmer and of no consequence to the team. neither was etan thomas. I also think trading the pick was intelligent due to the weakness of the draft, the in between spot of number 5 having no clear cut best player on the board most likely, and the apparent risk involved.

instead they got foye, who will make a good 6th man as he can score a little and is good for the magics style of loose offense, and miller, an excellent shooter and defender, who will help them spread the floor and bring experience.

Now about the magics chances. They definately have talent, in foye, arenas, butler, and jamison offensively as well as some good offensive bench peices . The issue is that all their players seem to be getting on in years, and last year, despite having 2 of their supposed 3 key players, they were awful. I know arenas brings alot to the table, but their stars are not particularly efficient , although arenas can be he and butler and not and for a big man neither is jamison.

They also do not move the ball particularly smoothly, and mike james is a heavily overrated scoring point. THe issue here is with arenas back will they move the ball, get better shots and be more efficient all around scoring threat, or will they continue to take bad shots.

now, assumign they get that under control, which i think they can with arenas's presence and the reduced offensive strain on the other two, do they play the championship defense that teams like boston, orlando, and cleveland play. The thing here is that orlando and boston, and cleveland if they make some anticipated moves have the same offensive all around team talent that the wizards do and so does la. There is no outgunning the east with its stacked offensive rosters and good defensive teams.

to be a threat flip saunders is going to have to do what he did with the pistons, although they were already doing it and impose defense and order.

the facts are that the wizards with their big three couldn't beat the cavs before their high profile aquisitions of williams and lebron coming into his own, so they need to improve, judgeing by that cleveland actually has the least talented roster of orlando, boston and itself at the moment.

Defense is their challenge, and although they dont have all the personell pieces like a defensive big man, they are capable of it if they work.

they have the offense, its about the d, id be interested to see how well flip can do with his peices here. I put them at a second round playoff team, but with a trade for a defensive big man, they may surprise me.

hope i helped, they have a decent shot, as specified above.

Posted them 7 months ago , but who cares :D?

Is that true according to a muslim the stories of Isa in the Quran is not Jesus from the Bible? is another man

benches that transform to tables on Mom the Builder: Convertible Picnic Table Benches
benches that transform to tables image
Q. according to a muslim Isa is not jesus because his name in arabic should be something like Ieshu or something like that.. Isa from Quran born from a virgin, she was relative of Harun's family and his never died.. he was taken by Allah to the Heaven.. in the Quran mentions a miracle you cannot find in the Bible, the table where Isa prayed for a table with food for his apostles.. so what's the truth? if is Isa and Jesus the same person? or Isa is different from Jesus ?

Answer
We cannot blame the Christians for their skepticism. They have been so learned for centuries. They were trained to think the worst of the man Muhammed, (salla Allah u alihi wa sallam), and his religion. How aptly did Thomas Carlyle say about his Christian brethren over a hundred and fifty years ago: "The lies which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muhammed) are disgraceful to ourselves only." We Muslims are partly responsible for this. We have not done anything substantial to remove the cobwebs.

Christians Unaware
The Christian does not know that the true spirit of charity which the Muslim displays, always, towards Jesus and his mother Mary spring from the fountainhead of his faith - the Holy Qurâân. He does not know that the Muslim does not take the holy name of Jesus, in his own language, without saying Eesa, alaihi assalam ("Jesus, peace be upon him")
The Christian does not know that in the Holy Qurâân Jesus is mentioned twenty five times. For example:
"We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit" (The Holy Qurâân 2:87)
"O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary..." (3:45)
"...Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of god..." (4:171)
"...And in their foot steps we sent Jesus the son of Mary..." (5:46)
"And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous." (6:85)
Jesus - His Titles
Though Jesus is mentioned by name in twenty-five places in the Holy Qurâân, he is also addressed with respect as: Ibn Maryam, meaning "The son of Mary"; and as the Maseeh (in Hebrew it is the Messiah), which is translated as "Christ". He is also known as Abdullah, "The servant of Allah"; and as Rasul u Allah, the messenger of Allah.
He is spoken of as "The Word of God", as "The Spirit of God", as a "Sign of God", and numerous other epithets of honor spread over fifteen different chapters. The Holy Quran honors this mighty messenger of God, and the Muslims have not fallen short over the past fourteen hundred years in doing the same. There is not a single disparaging remark in the entire Quran to which even the most jaundiced among the Christians can take exception.
Eesa Latinised to "Jesus"
The Holy Qurâân refers to Jesus as Eesa, and this name is used more times than any other title, because this was his "Christian" name. Actually, his proper name was Eesa (Arabic), or Esau (Hebrew); classical Yeheshua, which the Christian nations of the West latinised as Jesus. Neither the "J" nor the second "s" in the name Jesus is to be found in the original tongue - they are not found in the Semitic languages.
The word is very simply "E S A U" a very common Jewish name, used more than sixty times in the very first booklet alone of the Bible, in the part called "Genesis". There was at least one "Jesus" sitting on the "bench" at the trial of Jesus before the Sanhedrin. Josephus the Jewish historian mentions some twenty five Jesus' in his "Book of Antiquities". The New Testament speaks of "Bar-Jesus" a magician and a sorcerer, a false prophet (Acts 13:6); and also "Jesus-Justus" a Christian missionary, a contemporary of Paul (Colossians 4:11). These are distinct from Jesus the son of Mary. Transforming "Esau" to (J)esu(s) - Jesus - makes it unique. This unique (?) name has gone out of currency among the Jews and the Christians from the 2nd century after Christ. Among the Jews, because it came to be a name of ill - repute, the name of one who blasphemed in Jewry; and among the Christians because it came to be the proper name of their God. The Muslim will not hesitate to name his son Eesa because it is an honored name, the name of a righteous servant of the Lord.
