13th beach birthday party ideas?

Jennifer

My birthday is coming up on august 24! I'm thinking of going to the beach (Carmel-by-the Sea) with a few close friends, and then hanging out there for a few hours. After that we'll go window shopping downtown. Is this good? I need a few ideas for food, activities, and favors. Its gonna be pretty low budget. :)

Answer
Just get a table and some soft drink, some chips maybe some lollies and your cake. Also you should bring a radio or a phone for music. And maybe (if you have one) a volleyball net and a volleyball to play. Go swimming or jetti jumping you know stuff you usually do at the beach

Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort?

I'm going there in a couple of days. I'm in my late teens and I hope it isn't filled with children. How is it?

Answer
You will see children and families there but it's so big you won't notice. You will not be doing the same things as the young kids will be doing. Here are some of the things you can do.

Canoes
Kayaks
Windsurfing
Waterslides
5 pools
Sail boats/Hobie Cat
Hydrobikes
Table tennis
Board Games
Beach volleyball
Scuba diving/snorkeling

Turks and Caicos is awesome. Be sure to take snorkel boat excursion. It was a highlight of our trip.

Next door to Beaches is a wonderful snorkel reef at Coral Gardens.

If you bring a good attitude, you will have a fantastic time.

Enjoy)

My oldest daughter is turning 4 and my second oldest is turning three. We are having a joined birthday party since their birthdays are a day apart. We have thought about doing one of these but other suggestions are welcome
* princess and prince party
* my little pony party
* care bear party
* littlest pet shop party
* beach theme party

Which one would you pick and other suggestions are welcome

Answer
I did a beach themed for my oldest boy...he turned 3 and he had so much fun.
Here is what I did;
1. I had a palm tree pinata
2. I had a table cloth that was a beach themed table cloth
3. I had shrimp, fish and crab for fun :) we also had chips and stuff
4. we had blue gatorade (like the ocean) and water...plus pop
5. we put sand in our front yard...we just put a tarp down and bought some sand and layed it down on top of the tarp...easy clean up and fun for all ages
6. we let a sprinkler go for the kids
7. we had beach lawn chairs for the adults
8. beach balls, shovels, buckets and other beach toys were involved
9. His cake was blue and had a beach theme on it. :) cute
10. We also had a volleyball net..that is optional. :)

I would really try to do the sand idea because that was so much fun and we all had a complete blast. :) I think he had fun because everyone else was having fun too. :)

All of the themes were cool but I could relate to this one. :)

good luck and have fun. :)
