Beach Wedding in PA?

Q. I having a beach wedding in July 2008 am looking for ideas for it like decorations and stuff for the reception like flowers,centerpieces and anything else......

Does this beach exist?

I've been having a recurring dream about a beach. It feels very familiar to me, but I've only been to the beach once, and the beach I went to was not the beach in my dream. But anyways, some details:
The water is not wide. When you stand on one sandy beach you can clearly see a beach on the other side.
I don't believe it is a lake, because there were ocean creatures in the water/washing up on the beach with the waves.
There is a very large parking lot/parking garage, with huge round pillars (looked to be metal) painted blue and supporting a building located right before the start of the sand.
There is a large ramp that you can walk up to reach rentable rooms where you can stay overnight. These rooms are in the building over the parking lot. It wasn't a beach house or pay before you go kind of thing. You could just walk up and rent a room if they weren't all full.
There were a few small pools full of the water from the sea/ocean with small marine life in them (starfish, etc.) that the little kids could swim in if they were afraid of the water.
There was a cafe with a floor less room attached where you could sit at tables and have the seawater come in with the waves and wash over your feet, (sometimes bringing marine life like shells, crabs, and starfish in with it).
There is a giant curvy bridge that goes over the water.
It was very busy, but I recall someone saying it was only busy on certain days of the year (one being the day we went there).
It did not have a boardwalk.
So, I may be crazy for asking this question, but I am really curious as to if this beach exists. Please no rude answers. Also, please do not answer if you plan on joking.
Thanks Rene :) I have taken what you said into consideration. I know dreams are usually just memories or the twisting of memories that you've had. I thought about asking my parents, but I know for sure they would think I was crazy :p
I will definitely try that. I got a name in the dream, but when I searched it didn't exist. Maybe it possibly got warped or I just made the beach name/beach up.

Try looking at google images, and see if you can find it. It may have been a composition of various aspects of things from your life from actually having visited beaches, having seen images of beaches in movies, what your brain actually thinks a beach should look like, and what your brain is trying to mentally process at the time.

Beach Proposal Ideas!?

Q. My girlfriend of 5 and 1/2 years is coming to visit me in October and I plan to propose. I live in San Diego, California in the US Navy and I would like to do something on the beach, but I feel like that is kind of cliche. Does anyone have any ideas to spice up this proposal?

Aw!!! I would setup a dinner at night on the beach. I am sure you can find many restaurants to do so that are located by the beach. Have a table set for two with candles and make sure it's at night or sundown so the candles flicker and look very romantic. Have her favorite flowers on the table and leading up to the table. I would propose during desert. Make sure she dresses up and have flowers for her on the way (maybe have them in the car waiting in her seat before you leave for dinner) It's not cliché it's what woman want. They want something memorable and something that took effort. And yes you better get on one knee.

Let me add if you ask her father for permission that's the icing on the cake. Give him a call when shes not around.

Buy plenty of beach balls in a variety of colors and hang them from the ceiling. Rent fake palm trees. Cover wedding guests' tables with a deep blue table cloth, sprinkled with a little sand in the center and sea shells.
Nice large sea shells, with holes drilled in the top of each, and ribbons looped through the hole for hanging. Or cardboard treat boxes filled with with chocolate pieces in the shape of beach stuff like sea shells and wrapped in a beach wrapping paper.
Large, pillar candles with sea shells embedded in the wax and set in a low, flat dish fileld with sand. Or miniature lighthouses.

How can I make my room look better without spending a lot of money?

My room has always been really little girlish and I would like to redesign it. My favorite colors are purple, green, and light blue. I went to PBTeen looking for different things for it, but they are very expensive. I like things on my wall and my clostet doors beacuse they are very big. If you guys can please maybe show pictures or websites that would be great. Thanks so much!

Okay, so you want a more grown-up room, but you are on a budget. Why not try these ideas:
1. Look for inexpensive picture frames at yard sales or dollar stores, you can spray paint them all the same colours and create a collage for one wall. You can use postcards, magazine pics, or pics of your friends to put in them
2. Look for inexpensive glass vases at yard sales or dollar store, collect some sand and shells at the beach, and you can put it on an end table.

They were for the beach and you'd put the legs into the sand and not get any sand on yr drink.

Whats is more, overall they are meant as replacement for a table to rest drinks to allow for free hands to do other things such as Volleyball.

Question: Are you stupid? Really, are you, I am asking? A table is used, among other things, to place items upon. While at the beach engaging in other activities such as volleyball, so since we have no table we naturally place our drink in the sand .
