If I take a shovel to the beach how deep can I dig? Is taking a full size shovel illegal? If location matters I would probably be in Cocoa Beach, FL

I'm not asking how deep can a human possibly dig. I'm asking if there is a max legal depth.

Only a couple of feet. Once you reach the water table the sand will just start collapsing.

I have decided to do a candy buffet table at my wedding for the favors. I would like to put a container or bag at each chair with a note inviting them to visit the candy buffet.
