How can I make my room seem bigger?

I'm 15 and I have the tiniest room in the house. I have a double bed, a bedside table, a dresser, desk, chair and a butterfly chair. I also have a tiny closet where everything falls onto the floor. My room is just too small for me. How can I make it feel roomier and less cluttered?
My bed is already pushed into the corner. And I've gotten rid of a ton of things.

Go for a beach cottage theme. You could paint the walls white or light blue, scatter seashells on tables, use seaglass, light, airy colors. Use plants, flowers, lots of color. Go to a dollar store and there will be lots of inexpensive things now that relate to summer that you could buy for your club house. You can even use some dollar bath mats for the floors.
