I am moving to Virginia Beach. What are some great places to eat in the area.

Answer
I moved to Virginia Beach in November, here are some great places I've found so far:

Rockefeller's - seafood: Always a wait to get a table, but worth it! It's located at the southern part of the Oceanfront. $15 & up / person. [ http://www.rockafellers.com/ ]

Azar's - Mediterranean: Great place for anything from a quick falafel wrap or gyro to full-out four-course dinners. Two locations, the one in Virginia Beach has a small market attached - great for wine and cheese. $7 & up / person. [ http://www.azarfoods.com/ ]

501 City Grille - American: One side is a traditional dining room, the other a classy pub-style bar with live music regularly. May have the best fish tacos in the region. $13 & up / person.

Once you get here, pick up a PortFolio Weekly, the local alternative paper [ http://www.portfolioweekly.com/ME2/Default.asp ] - has a pretty good listing of local places to eat, plus concerts, clubs, events, and news.

Best of luck, you'll love it here!

I'm in need for some ideas for a good outdoor (poolside, beach) wedding concept. Anyone have an idea?

Friends of us are planning to get married next summer. They are thinking of an outdoor wedding (poolside, beach) and are in need for some ideas for a good outdoor wedding concept.
Anyone have an idea?

Answer
You already have the concept: water/beach/pool side.

If by the pool:

I would suggest floating gardenias or other flowers in the pool
Floating ice sculptures in the pool
Petals on the fountain

If by the beach

-Adirondack chairs
-Mini Adirondack chair or life guard towers to hold the table numbers

My wedding was a beach wedding and we had shells as place holders with the name sprinted on a capiz shell. They were displayed on a wood boat with sand and mini-star fishes and an Italian mini-lace umbrella. here is the picture of it:

I designed our menu cards and also attached a capiz shell on it, everyone oohh--ahh on those. Here is the pic

I wanted to keep it tropical, so my bouquet was made of orchids. Here is a picture of my bouquet

For my wedding cake, I wanted a "beach" feeling, but wanted to steer clear from the old and tired graham crackers "sand" and fondant shells, so we got a Belgian chocolate cigarellos cake with fresh orchids on top:

My colors were navy blue, sand beige and gold.. to keep it along with the beach concept.

I hope that helps.

Good luck

If so, do you have the item number or sku number???

It's a jungle themed set, with a giraffe on the table and monkeys on the chairs.
It's mostly light blue, yellow, orange, and green pastels.

Answer
When Elie Wiesel was liberated from the Buchenwald concentration camp in April 1945, he decided to wait for ten years before writing his memoirs of the Holocaust. Night is the story of Elie Wiesel surviving Nazi concentration camps as a teenager. The original Yiddish publication of Night was 900 pages and titled And the World Remained Silent. Despite low sales originally, Night has now been translated into thirty languages and has become a classic. Night is the first book in a trilogy â Night, Dawn, and then Day, probably referring to a transition in state of mind. That is, in this first book, he is in a state of darkness. Of Night, Elie Wiesel says, "If in my lifetime I was to only write one book, this would be the one."
