Okay so my party is going to be at the picnic area at a boat launch. The area is nice, it has a fire pit, picnic tables, access to a large field (that has 2 soccer nets installed in it), a bit of sand, and a lake (duh) but it might be too cold to swim...so I bought these mini squirt guns to have fun with. This spot is right next to the beach, so if we really wanted, we could go there too. I'm planning on tying some balloons to trees as decorations and I'm putting a nice plastic tablecloth on the picnic table. I'm going to bring a soccer ball, some frisbees, a volleyball, badminton supplies, and some baseball equipment. Do you have any other ideas for things to do? Like a mini-tournament or other outdoor game or something? Thank you for answering!!

Hi Maria,
Only God knows the answer to that. Pick a date and then have a back-up plan. We always like to have a theme to our pool parties - so let's say you have a beach party theme - if rain chases the party indoors - you can still provide a beach party atmosphere inside.
Hang paper lanterns from the dining room light. Place an air mattress in the corner, drape a striped beach towel over a piece of furniture. Use a plastic or colorful tablecloth and decorate the center with beach balls and sand toys. Put the food and snacks in new sand buckets and serve with new sand shovels.
