Any ideas of what we can use to decorate the tables at our reception besides the centerpiece?
Please don't say "seashells". We're using these for the center pieces in a bowl.
Answer
I had a beach wedding in Jamaica and was clueless on how to decorate for it. But there are many traditional items you can use and still use to provide a beach themed setting:
*Starfish - we found many different colors of these to maybe use with place cards
**Floating Candles/Flowers - If you're doing an evening event, these would look great surrounding the seashells
***Pictures - Beach scenery like the sunset over the water, water excursions, boats; you could also do some games with the picture idea, have people write out their best vacation ideas or guess your honeymoon location
You have so much to work with; use Google Images for additional help.

i need ideas for place cards?
Q. for the head table at a wedding. i'm making them for my sister and i'd like some creative genius :) thanks!!!
Answer
Does she have a theme? For example if it is a beach theme you could make the place cards out of seashells. If it is a casino theme you can make the place cards out of poker chips...you get the idea.
If she doesn't have a theme for the wedding then do something that is based on her colors. You may also want to think of using something other than paper...maybe you can have hers and her future husbands name etched onto glass...this way they can keep them as a present/memory.
