I have one now but my roommate is moving out and taking it. Is there an official name for one of these? I cant seem to find a cheap one at ikea.
At first glance it looks like a normal wood coffee table. But you can lift up the top and it becomes more of a kitchen table. Super convenient because I live in a small apartment and dont have a dining room.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm babysitting my niece for a week and I want to do like a camp for her. What are some fun things I could do with her each day? What are some good crafts I could do with her?

Go to Michaels. They have craft kits, as well as paint-it-yourself pre-made boxes. She can make and decorate her own little heart shaped (or whatever shape you choose!) box.
You can also get Sand Art and Bead Art kits at Walmart, Target, K-Mart, ETC, if you don't have a local target.
Be sure, if you decide to paint, that she isn't wearing good clothes, or that you cover her clothes! Mom might not be happy if she ruins a good pair of clothes. You might ask your sister if she has any clothes she could wear for painting.
You can also buy cheap t-shirts and some tye-dye, but be sure to read the instructions. I once turned the inside of my dryer purple-whoops! Michaels sells tye-dye in various colors, and you can get plain t's almost anywhere.
Since it's summer, if it's warm where you are, turn on the sprinkler, or find some kind of water activity. Do you have a local swimming pool? Usually, it's rather inexpensive to go to a public pool. If you have something like a Slip N Slide, those are fun, too.
Coloring sheets are good, too. Google "free coloring pages" and you'll find some coloring sheets you can print off your computer for you and her to color. Be sure to have plenty of markers and crayons!
Movies are always good. Go downtown to Blockbuster, or a local video rental store. Find a movie suitable. You know your neice-you know what she likes.
There's also games. Most people have board games in their home. Sit down at the kitchen table, and play Monopoly. Don't forget to collect $200 when you pass Go! ;)
